Quick answer: On Nomni POS for iPad, add the items or deposit to the order, tap pay, then tap MOTO PAYMENT. The button only shows if your venue's integrated payment provider is Stripe, Westpac or Adyen. Then follow the steps below.
MOTO (mail order/telephone order) lets you charge a card without the card being present, for example a deposit taken over the phone.
Before you start
Nomni POS for iPad, with Stripe, Westpac or Adyen as your integrated payment provider. MOTO PAYMENT is currently available on Nomni POS for iPad only.
MOTO enabled on your merchant account by your payment provider.
Steps
Add the items or deposit to the order and tap pay.
Tap MOTO PAYMENT. It only shows if your integrated payment provider is Stripe, Westpac or Adyen.
Enter the card details as prompted and complete the payment.
Keep the receipt with the order.
If something goes wrong
MOTO PAYMENT doesn't show: your integrated payment provider isn't Stripe, Westpac or Adyen, or MOTO isn't enabled on your merchant account. Contact your provider.
Other terminals: some let you start MOTO from the terminal's own menu. Check your provider's guide.
